Man, Central Florida is representing this year in American Idol! First, we had Alyssa from St. Cloud, and now Crystal Alicea from Winter Garden. Both AMAZING voices, and both going to Hollywood for the next step in the competition. The judges absolutely loved her and said she had everything an artist today needs to succeed. The blind auditions for season 14 of The Voice came to a close on Tuesday night. Now it’s time to see these singers develop and learn from their coaches and become the next “The Voice” winner! Alicia Keys was the first coach to fill her team, adding Sharane Calister after hearing the singer’s cover of “Make It Rain” by Ed Sheeran.
Coach Adam Levine had two spots remaining. He filled the first with first-generation Cuban American Genesis Diaz–who took on Kesha’s powerful anthem “Praying.”

Oprah went from having “no interest in running for president” to a new outlook on the idea. CASSELBERRY, Fla. – There was an increased security presence Thursday at South Seminole Middle School and Casselberry Elementary School after the middle school discovered a threatening post on its Instagram account, Seminole County Public Schools said.
Police announced Thursday the arrest of a 12-year-old girl for posting an online threat to shoot and place destructive devices at three Seminole County schools: Casselberry Elementary, South Seminole Middle School and Sterling Park Elementary.
The girl, who police did not identify, attends South Seminole Middle School.
