Mandalay Bay Owners Sue Victims of Vegas Shooting

The Las Vegas-Review Journal reports that the owners of the Mandalay Bay casino, MGM, are suing more than 1,000 victims of last year’s violent tragedy at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, claiming that the corporation has no liability for the biggest mass shooting in American history, which claimed 58 lives and injured more than 800 country music fans. FIFA Sends Down Orders To Cameramen For World Cup

FIFA has ordered World Cup broadcasters to stop zooming in on “hot women” in the crowd during games in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Among those attracting attention are former Russian porn star Natalya Nemchinova and the model girlfriends/ wives of players. FIFA’s diversity boss Federico Addiechi says the association is working with discrimination group Fare Network to monitor sexism at the games. So far, it has documented more than 30 cases in Russia. BBC reports that Addiechi calls the crackdown on broadcasters’ ogling attractive female fans is part of “a normal evolution.”
