Many celebrities take caution when it comes to their children’s faces being on social media accounts. They don’t post any on their own and they don’t like others doing it either. Blake Lively personally reached out to fans on Instagram and asked them to take down photos of her 3-year-old daughter James after they surfaced online this week. “Thank you for your support but please remove this photo right away,” Lively commented on a photo posted on the Blake Lively Fan 99 account. “It was taken without my knowledge or consent by a man hiding. Thank you!!!!” The photo has since been deleted. On Wednesday, Lively’s team urged publications to take down images of her and Ryan Reynolds’ daughter, which were shot by a photographer lurking outside Martha Stewart’s Easter bash on Sunday. Outlets including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and ELLE have since removed the image or the entire Easter story.

These are photos from an event honoring Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, which she posted herself, so maybe it was just the fact that she didn’t give permission for the Easter photos to be published and therefore, did not want them out there for the world to see.
