Roseanne returned to primetime with two consecutive episodes on Tuesday night after a 21-year hiatus and immediately tackled the political divide in the country. It was revealed that Roseanne (Roseanne Barr) and her sister Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) were on bad terms since the 2016 election, as evidenced by a family dinner during which they took jabs at each other.
