The official music video for Kenny Chesney’s latest single “All the Pretty Girls“ will be made by a college student in Nashville. MusicRow reports that Chesney has launched a contest open to Belmont University and Middle Tennessee State University students to submit a clip for the song. The winning video will be chosen by a panel that includes reps from CMT, Sony Nashville and Chesney’s team; the winning director will receive a $5,000 scholarship and an official premiere of the video on CMT. “The best moments of being young and having fun should be captured,“ says Chesney in a statement. “I can’t wait to see the creativity everyone brings to this song.“ The contest deadline is July 23 and a winner will be announced on July 31.
