Kurt Russel was one of Disney’s biggest stars when he was a kid in the late ’60s and early ’70s. And when you’re that big of a star you tend to know the CEO of the company you work for… or in his case, have a close and personal relationship with WALT DISNEY. So close, in fact, that Kurt was apparently on Walt’s mind when he died in 1966.
Kurt says that a few years after his death, a woman took him into Walt’s office and showed him that Walt had written his name . . . and it was the last thing he wrote. To this day he doesn’t know why.
But he says, quote, “We did have a personal relationship . . . There were many, many things that I connected with him [on]. He reminded me a lot of my own grandfather.
