Brad Paisley, John Fogerty Call Out Mistreatment of War Veterans

By AJ Maguire

Brad Paisley and John Fogerty address the mistreatment of war veterans in the video for their new song “Love & War.” Released on Friday, the visual shows Paisley and Fogerty performing the track in San Diego on the USS Midway, as well as under the famous 25-foot tall statue Unconditional Surrender, which features a World War II sailor kissing a nurse. The performance footage is cut with shots of real-life vets, both in battle and now, decades later, still struggling. The video also features a snapshot of a bespectacled Pvt. John Fogerty from the Creedence Clearwater Revival founder’s military days in the Army Reserve. Love & War is out now.
