Ed Sheeran showed up on the TODAY show Wednesday morning to announce his upcoming North American tour. “I’m spending four months in America…It’s the most time I’m spending in any continent,” Sheeran said, teasing that he might even “come back for some more…Next year’s gonna be the stadiums, this year’s gonna be the arenas.” Sheeran’s 40-plus performances kick off on June 29 in Kansas City, Missouri. The trek is scheduled to wrap up on October 6 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. In between, he’ll hit such major cities as Toronto, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, San Diego, Dallas, Miami, and Chicago. Sheeran debuted his new album Divide on Friday; the tour’s pre-sale begins on Monday.
