Monday night was a big night in TV… but an even bigger night for Gwen Stefani! After two seasons away from The Voice, Gwen Stefani returned to her red chair on Monday for season 12. Gwen started the night off strong: After contestant JChosen turned all four chairs with his soulful performance of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing,” he shocked everyone by picking Stefani as her coach. Later, Gwen beat-out boyfriend Blake Shelton for singer Stephanie Rice, who got the couple to turn their chairs with an emotional cover of “Piece by Piece” by Kelly Clarkson. The night also saw Alicia Keys winning over contestant Felicia Temple by joining her onstage for a quick duet of Alicia’s hit “Falling.” Prior to the impromptu performance, Felicia delivered a rousing version of “All I Could Do Was Cry” by Etta James.
