Starbucks No Longer Serving Alcohol

By MelissaOnK923

Well that didn’t last very long… After January 10, the Seattle-based coffee chain is suspending the beer, wine and small plates-driven “Starbucks Evenings” program at 439 company-owned stores in the U.S. “This will allow the majority of our locations to focus on our core business…while optimizing the evening for our premium customer,” a Starbucks spokesperson told The Seattle Times. The company will continue offering wine and beer at its higher-end Roaster and Reserve retail stores and it’s possible that international locations and certain U.S. stores may still offer booze. So if you like to enjoy a alcoholic beverage at your local Starbucks after work, today is your last day… So go soak it up!
