On Tuesday night’s season 11 finale of The Voice, the final four performed with some of today’s biggest celebrities and the new champion was crowned. Team Alicia’s We McDonald started off the celebrity duets by joining John Legend for a performance of his new song “Love Me Now.” Later, Team Adam’s Josh Gallagher and Billy Gilman joined Cam and Kelly Clarkson, respectively, on their chart topping singles “Burning House” and “It’s Quiet Uptown.” And Team Blake’s Sundance Head performed a medley of “Detroit Rock City” and “Rock N Roll All Night” with KISS before being named the season 11 winner. Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande also stopped by to sing their duet “Faith” with the four finalists.
And the winner of the entire night was Team Blake…Sundance Head!! He’s a former “American Idol” contestant and the son of singer Roy Head, who had a hit with “Treat Her Right” in the ’60s. Team Adam’s Billy Gilman was second, followed by Team Alicia’s Wé McDonald.
This is Team Blake’s5th win . . . the most of any coach. Adam Levine has three victories, while Usher, Pharrell Williams, and Christina Aguilera have one a piece.
