It was announce on Saturday that Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign will participate in a recount of the votes cast in Wisconsin’s election. (Under federal law, any presidential election disputes must be resolved within 35 days of election day) This is a direct result of the efforts launched by Green Party candidate Jill Stein to have votes recounted in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. USA Today reports that unofficial vote tallies in the three battleground states indicate that Trump won Michigan by less than 12,000 votes, Wisconsin by less than 30,000 and Pennsylvania by less than 70,000. Clinton would have to win recounts in all three of the states to have enough electoral votes to win the presidency. President-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter on Sunday to blast Clinton as a hypocrite because she previously criticized him for suggesting he wouldn’t accept the results of the election. “Hillary Clinton conceded the election when she called me just prior to the victory speech and after the results were in,” he wrote. “Nothing will change.”
